Deputy UWR minister unseat Ridwan Abass in NPP Primaries

Amidu Chinnia Issahaku, a deputy UWR has been elected to lead the NPP in Sissala East with a total vote of 250 out of 445.He beat the incumbent member of parliament Ridwan Abass by 55 votes with Ridwan polling 195 votes.The Municipal electoral director Mr Charles Bonsra announced that the deputy minister got 250 votes making 56.18% whilst the member of parliament got 195 votes representing 43.82%.The deputy minister who visited the party office after the polls said,”God’s favour is more important than human favour. I thank almighty God for this favour despite all the machinations by supposed powerful hands. God remains my helper and I will continue to count on him”.RadfordFM
